   ACTIVITY 4 PAGE 45

     a. During puberty, girls grow taller and their
bodies becomes fuller. Their breasts start to
develop and hair grows in the pubic area and
armpits.
    b. Most girls start having a period
between 10 and 15 years old.
   c. Ovulation occurs approximately every 28 days.
   d. During menstruation, the uterus releases blood and
tissue, which leave the body through the vagina.

    ACTIVITY  3 PAGE

The tail helps sperm to move along the fallopian
tubes and fertilise the ovum.

Semen is necessary because it helps the sperm cells to move more
easily and also provides them with nutrients.

The scrotum regulates the temperature of the
testicles, which is important for the production
of healthy sperm.
